The "Chit Chat" has enjoyed decades of music history, with performing artists playing the room at all stages of their success; rough and ready to seasoned and acclaimed; some of the best in the music industry.

50 years of musical tradition continues, with a few added attractions:

  • The Chit Chat has been renovated to accomodate Sports Fans with several wide screen TVs

  • A weekly Karaoke night has been added, hosted by Steve's daughter!
    Warm up, and join us every Wednesday

  • Earlier opening weekdays for after work unwinding

  • Expanded operation on the historically appointed second floor. This is a great venue for corporate and personal events. We can take care of everything! No worries.

  • Televised seasonal sports events, especially NFL Football, will welcome patrons weekend afternoons. Have a beer and watch the game at The Chit Chat Lounge!

 

Club History

The Schena Family opened the club in 1959. The club extends a warm "Thank you" to Gary Schena, sister Marge, and other Schena family members, musicians, staff and loyal patrons who helped to make The Chit Chat Lounge Haverhill's gathering place for music, friends and drink.
